Excuse me everybody. Though I haven't contributed much yet, but I would like to comment...
I just fail to understand, why do we have many Arabic versions for the same CC term?.. Isn't it the same Arabic? As far as I can see, you are not translating in colloquial dialect, but proper fos7a Arabic.. so why to create more than one term in Arabic for the same term in English?!.. I really fail to understand the point about Egyptian, Tunisian or Jordanian representation?.. Arabic is universal. And if there is a word that is not widely known in one country nowadays, it will be known later on - after inducing its usage.. Who knew about the term "Television" before using it?.. My suggestion here is to work on our language unity (at least virtually, if we failed to do it in real life!) and propose all translations to an open vote in a democratic way.. and all people who speak Arabic have the right to select which term they prefer. It's always good to have one big unified, and widely known, Arabic CC term translation; that is globally acknowledged, instead of creating small, and disperse, terms per country that may keep confusing speakers of the same language! (here, to clarify, I am only talking about the translation of the term CC, not activities per country) Sorry for taking from your time.
