One week lab experience, lab 4. Not sure if proctorlabs could test it at the time. Only logged in twice for CatOS QoS and vg248 stuff. Yes, you have to change the license, (reinstall, whatever it was.)
No one said the CCIE exam can't integrate CCME with IPCCX, so maybe try that also. That's a reinstall also. Same for the IVR license for CUE Outbound preview dialer, etc, etc etc that no one is also testing. IPExpert isn't testing a LOT of stuff that COULD be on the exam. So try it yourselves. I still find the IPX stuff valuable. Michael, Are you sure CUE/CUCM was covered in the v2 material? Which module? Also, how would Proctorlabs accomodate this? You need to apply a specific license file during installation of CUE to get it to work on either CUCM or CME (can't do both, from what I've seen.) If you post NDA stuff, Cisco just makes the test harder and harder. The end of the v2 run was DISGUSTING. It wasn't a test--it was a puzzle. I might have done better with the nail puzzle or a Sudoku puzzle. I might have done better finding the holy grail. CUE with CUCM load probably breaks NDA. It was covered in IPexpert's v2 stuff somewhere anyways so it's not a surprise, we know to study it as well as anything else that was in the old stuff. So you are not doing *US* any favors. We bought the old stuff, we have the new stuff and are studying BOTH. The prep material is not a waste of money--IPExpert is not selling a brain dump. I started studying for v3 before IPExpert came out with any of the V3 stuff and I gotta say, it's a LOT easier to understand and gives a different perspective for solving some of the cisco documentation woes. They have also included stuff that I haven't come across in the documentation or everyday life (such as question 9.1 for sip hunt). The other stuff, *I* don't see a problem with. Yea, study the F&S guide, the system guide, the CCME Admin guide, the IPCC guide, etc, etc, etc. also. -----Original Message----- From: ccie_voice-boun...@onlinestudylist.com<mailto:ccie_voice-boun...@onlinestudylist.com> [mailto:ccie_voice-boun...@onlinestudylist.com<mailto:ccie_voice-boun...@onlinestudylist.com>] On Behalf Of Sean B Davis Sent: Monday, August 10, 2009 1:10 PM To: ccie_voice@onlinestudylist.com<mailto:ccie_voice@onlinestudylist.com> Subject: [OSL | CCIE_Voice] Impression of V3 - My two cents worth. This was my third time around, twice with v2 now once with V3. Yes it was very challenging but completely doable. The big thing was the items that none of the prep material out there covers in-depth, including Cisco own SRND (it makes a good start). Sort of got blindsided by those items. Some hints: Do not waste too much time or money with the prep material from anyone at this point, they still have not got it together. Read the SRND word for word several times!!! If a rack provider cannot get the CUE loaded with CUCM version of the software do not buy from them!!!!!!!!!!!! Find the advanced dial plan presentation from Networkers 2009 and study like it was your bible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep in mind 60% of the material from IPexpert, CCbootcamb, and Internetwork Expert will help, but is not complete enough especially in the advanced dial plan area and CUE with CUCM. I came close but could have used more study material on the dial plan, did not see the Networkers presentation until the day after I came back from my test.
