Here is what I would love to see as a response: Ignore the jerk that did this - never publicly mention him again. Let him LEARN what "lonely" really means. Publicly reward the student that jumped him. Permanent travel visa to the USA. Privately penalize the air carrier. Privately rip ALL of the security agencies a new one. And fire someone. Make as FEW public changes to air travel as possible (while still making this less likely in the future) Review the recommendations of the 9-11 commission. Start implementing some of the recommendations, for God's sake. Very privately track down all his helpers. And kill them dead. And deny it. Start building a system that can funnel the information we DID have, so that it becomes actionable in time.
