How else would you save money? Where I am, its Wal-Mart, Martin's or
Food Lion (Martin's and Food Lion are supermarket chains), or
convenience stores.

Tell me, where would you buy, say, a sweatshirt or pair of pants if
those were you only options? (Unless, of course, you wanted to drive
30 miles - which brings on added costs, adds to pollution, etc)

Like I said, I usually support local businesses, but when it gets to
be crunch time, you have to make some changes. At that point in time,
you need to do what you think is best for your family. And in my
opinion, its best if we can get the most bang for our buck. And,
around here, we can get the most bang for our buck at Wal-Mart.

On a side note - what about the people who work at Wal-Mart? Don't you
care about them? By not giving your business to Wal-Mart, you may be
hurting them as well. I know at least 6 people who work at Wal-Mart
part-time (on top of their full-time jobs) to make ends meet. By not
giving some business to Wal-Mart, those people could lose there jobs.
