Manufacturing is going overseas because they work for $5 a week. We can't compete with that. If Walmart doesn't do it the next guy will. Have you ever noticed K-mart, Target and Walmart sell a lot of the same crap. The only difference is K-mart pays Martha Stewart for her picture on the same item so the consumer pays extra.
