Rehabilitation is a thing of the past. Prisons are purely warehousing operations now, and impose rudimentary "treatment" programs for drug offenders once paroled, but not much else.
The old days of getting a free high school /GED and college educations while in prison are long gone now. The current mentality is "lock 'em up" and get them off the streets.
