The Druid validation slice is no longer available: current dev already contains the declarative Druid sink validation change (ea07c4bcb0b), including the batchSize option contract. Please do not open another Druid PR or duplicate its tests. The tracker comment from September 9 predates that merge. Please choose a still-unclaimed connector, name the exact factory/options, and post the proposed required/optional and blank-value semantics here before implementation so we can avoid another overlap.
