I'm pretty sure you are just out and out wrong on this fact. I will check
though - but I'm fairly positive this is incorrect.

Again, I think you are off the mark. I will try to research it, but this is
NOT my understanding of the situation.

Arabs can vote. If they couldn't they wouldn¹t have had to boycott the
election that got Sharon in power. The boycott was very public and reported
in the news.
