Now thats a cop out of a good stoush, Personaly I don't know why the firebird crowd are bothering, firstly by their own ommission they had to recode Interbase (which as we all know was gods gift to SQL) because the it was a POS and now they are forking and creating yet another DB component lib - all very amusing. Meanwhile PostgreSQL are taking the pragmatic route, if Oracle does it we'll do it better, and winning.
