I'm definitely coming around to your opinion for us not to be
involved. Anything NB 8.2 and earlier is up to Oracle to decide
whether to archive or not - we continue forwarding to it if it exists,
but other than that, not our problem.

Not only is there the work of moving stuff, but there seems to be some
things (mainly third-party) that don't have sources? Not sure how
much is necessary or not? But moving that to any new infrastructure,
by us or anyone else, will still require checking that everything is
compliant with distribution terms. If someone wants to take that on
and mirror it, taking full responsibility, we could consider
maintaining forwarding, or better advertise the new (not at
netbeans.org) address with suitable disclaimer?

Best wishes,

Neil
