Hello again...
Well...I feel I have done all to this that I want to at the moment (yes,
I am just about to send a message to the Project leads), so you can take
a look again at:
http://website.openoffice.org/tryouts/Kay/projects/
In response to some of the comments (notably Ingrid, Bernhard, and
Clytie), here are some of my thoughts...
* on Clytie's one word categorizations
Well you got voted down somewhat my dear based on the concern for
correctness. I have tried to regroup things somewhat so we have a more
parallel (this is a writer's term) of topics. I hope you find it to your
liking
* Ingrid and Bernhard on your concerns/objections to posting the
project leads and the "short description". I left the leads in because
as I said, it's a nice short hand way of sending e-mail and I think
these folks deserve mention as often as possible, ;). And it gives
visitors a nice warm fuzzy feeling to see there's actual people out
there that are assigned to these projects.
I left the short descriptions in because if visitors to this page use
the ProjectServlet link (toward the top of the page), these terms will
show up there so they may as well get some initiation to them.
* Bernhard's recommendations on moving some items...OK I did this and
actually broke apart Distribution and Promotion
* Bernhard's comments about Localization and the difference between l10n
and i18n... Ya got me! I have NO idea what these things mean...if
someone wants to send me somthing nice to dump into the description box,
please do! :)
And, oddly/confusingly in the Language section, there seems to be 2 kind
of like home pages for the NLC folks -- the one I've linked to here in
this new display and the "official" home page which is WAY different.
* Bernhard you commented on adding the mailing lists to the Support
area. As the Mailing Lists are not really a project, I didn't do this,
and there is a link to the main mailing list page toward the top of the
page as well.
OK, this is it from me for a week or so as I am out of town until the
New Year! So, Happy Holidays to all and this has been a fun little
project! :)

"There is no such thing as a 'self-made' man.
We are made up of thousands of others. Everyone
who has ever done a kind deed for us, or spoken
one word of encouragement to us, has entered
into the make-up of our character and of our
thoughts, as well as our success."
