I've decided it's time to start doing something based on this thread, so
now we need people with development experience.

If there is anyone reading this thread that have development
experience, is inspired and want to participate more actively to
realize some of the things mentioned in this thread, I'd like you to
send me a PM or mail. If you use mail, please write your forum account
name in the mail so I know who you are on these forums.

I'm especially interested in someone that have experience of GUI
development in some language supported on both OSX, Windows and Linux,
I would prefer something more modern than perl but if you only know
perl that's fine too. I feel that experience of designing GUI's are
more important than actual development experience, so don't hesitate to
contact me if you have only worked with GUI design but don't have any
experience with development.

I'm also interested in someone with huge experience of classical and/or
jazz music that likes to participate more actively in the process, maybe
not as developer but as someone who can look at draft ideas of
information models and do analysis regarding which search/browse
functions we need to support for these music categories.

Hopefully there will be a huge interest to participate and in that case
we might not involve everyone now immediately, we need to setup some
rough design/architecture first, but I can promise that we will do our
best to make sure to find some part eventually to everyone who is
interested to participating as developer.

To everyone else who doesn't have development experience, keep posting
ideas in this thread that would improve the music discovery experience
and we will pickup all the good ones that are realistic to implement.
Eventually we will get to a beta testing phase and then we need all of
you as beta testers.

To everyone that haven't posted an answer on the questions in the
initial post in this thread, please post your answers.
