Here is an idea that would be neat to see; a playlist generator that uses the Last.FM 'top tracks' for an artist. The idea being that you could (in trusting in the wisdom of crowds) quickly get the most popular tracks for a number of new / unknown artists in a new playlist. I normally use Last.FM, Pandora and Amazon to discover new bands and often it is a challenge evaluating and giving a fair hearing to all the new music I have.
