just tried 3rd party controlling is working just fine. I can understand that they don't want freeloaders on mysb.com it sometimes has a hard time to keep up with all the registred real squeezebox players. I can also undertand that thier contracts with some app supliers is tied to actual squeezeboxes.
I can use my apps via the local server to my iPad player? Check: I can use it directly with mysb.com I must be one of thoose freeloaders :) "My apps" would require mysb.com coperation in the background ? Whats the status of SqueezePlay Softsqueeze and SqueezeSlave on mysqueezebox.com ? These are semi oficial sort of players.
