Just re-read your intial post and you say problems are worst when you turn on your laptop? Can you dsecribe your network? Do you have a single router for your cable modem / ADSL which has its own inbuilt wireless access point?
Do you have any other computers apart from your own laptop? Is the laptop a work laptop or personal?
