I find the "can-spam" defense amusing, considering that Tucows is a
Canadian company.
Speaking as a Canadian, perhaps we don't have similar legislation here,
but we do have ethics! How about trying to set a good example...
Speaking about setting a good example: in Hungary we have the
"can-use-baseball-bat" act to stop spammers. Works *much* better than
any Bayesian filters.
Other than that, I'm really uniterested in the outcome of this. I
just... don't care any more. To my customers, I provide the service, not
Tucows. Just don't use their logo :)
BTW, the old trick - forwarding the Linux kernel 100 times to anyone who
spams - still seem to work sometimes...
