I've previously explained in detail why this is absolutely wrong unless a consensus policy is adopted to implement it at the registry level.
However, I don't see the point of rehashing this and other topics again, since I'm sure your opinion is as unlikely to shift as mine.
I've made my points as clearly as I could in the past, and anyone who has enough time on their hands to be interested in the details of my comments on this and other topics is welcome to consult the archives. I'll leave it at that.
