Not to try too much to lower expectations, but the anecdotes I hear
about laptops are generally negative. The guy who installed some new
financial s/w on my office PC said he's gone thru 3 laptops in less than
2 yrs and that's generally the experience of the folks HE talks to.
Their s/w runs ONLY on Windoze, so he's talking about the Dells, IBMs,
Compaqs, etc.

I've had a bit better luck w/ my 2400, but that's all that I think that
it is. We're all living on borrowed time.
