LJ currently has its suggestions organized as a moderated community,
with suggestions tagged both by topics they touch on, and
review/implementation status. Assuming this is going to be similar
(and that is a big assumption) I might like to see the most recent
three entries as title and a snippet of the entry, three more as title
only, and a mini tag cloud of maybe the ten most popular topic-tags.

If this was going to be really really shiny, it would be so very cool
to have the top ten most popular suggestions (like "make an iPhone
client", "make a Blackberry client", and "make a printable/bound copy
of my LJ" are in LJ suggestions) so people would be able to find them
to join in the discussion rather than having to be redirected by
suggestions moderators.

That leads into, of course, a stats-collection module for the
moderation queue, to help maintainers keep track of rejection reasons.
The moderation queue would log rejected posts, their rejection
reasons, and then the moderator(s) could see if there were any trends
that could mean that there are issues in the community that need
addressing.

...and I'm babbling again. :D
