So - this used to be the behavior? You could have comment
notifications go straight to your email, but bypass the inbox?
I'm okay with reintroducing that behavior. I'd rather have the
default send them to both, but allow users to opt out of inbox
notifications on comment notifications.
I'ma little confused, because (on LJ--I'm not on DW yet) my comment notifications go to my email, and they don't go to the LJ message inbox. The only things that go there are birthday notices, private messages, and LJ News stuff. This is pretty much how it's always been, for years, since they first allowed the ability to watch comment threads. That's not how it is for everyone else?
There's a checkbox on the Manage Settings page (http://www.livejournal.com/manage/settings/?cat=notifications) , where I can choose to send Comments to Email, to the Inbox, or to both. Is that gone for some account types, or some styles? I know we're talking about DW, not LJ here, but if LJ's code still lets folks make that choice, it should be there in DW code somewhere, right?
