Well, Mr. McTeigue,
Many thanks for the esteem, but I'm not so sure about the "elder" part - LOL.

And, my dear Mr. Guthrie, I'd have to say, IMHO, the sarcasm started a weensy
bit earlier in the chain......

"Can we persuade Leah and Mike to use their internet skills and ability with
telephones to come up with first name, last name and direct telephone number of
Amazon EDI Contact people?

That would be a great service to all of us who've actually tried to work with
Amazon -- both in set-up and problem solving.

How about it folks? Lots of brownie points here for the effort!

(God knows no one else here has a clue about the internet or how to use a
telephone, obviously).

Cheers,
Jim Guthrie"

Or perhaps I misunderstood?

Leah

Allrighty then, let’s not go overboard shall we?

Michael and Leah make excellent comments about the general virtues of
contacting your trading “partner” in an alternative business way. i.e. Get your
sales guy to pick up the damn phone and call the buyer. Maybe it does not work
for Amazon but nonetheless, excellent general advice. Both of them are also
esteemed elder statesman of the list with many an interesting pitched battle
between them that have proved entertaining if not illuminating to many others.

I trust that you Mr. Guthrie will take note of the above.

Cheerios,

Paul McTeigue

I see then that your only answer is sarcasm heaped on additional sarcasm.

Cheers,
Jim Guthrie
