Having never touched one, I'd agree that a 2.5" VFO knob would have been
a better choice than 1.5".
The Main VFO knob is 1.9" (4.8 cm) in diameter, not 1.5" (3.8 cm).
I find it every bit as comfortable to use as the VFO knobs on my other
base station targeted rigs.
