Well, as someone who hasn't participated in this debate yet, I'd like 
to point out that, while your suggestion isn't unusual (I, too, belong 
to lists that add "[listname]" to the subject headings), it sounds like 
your *real* problem is that your mail actions aren't set up correctly.

You should never need to go hunting through all your folders to find 
misfiled messages.  If a mail action files a message in the wrong 
folder, you need to fix that mail action.

We're just trying to help you solve your problem.  Maybe we're a little 
resistant to changing the way the list behaves in order to solve the 
specific problem of one particular member, but you seem a little 
resistant to consider other solutions.
