Her point was that her life would be easier if the list behaved the way 
she wanted it to behave.

My point was the she would get faster and more reliable results if she 
made better use of the tools she already has (mail actions).

 From my point of view:

Evie is saying "can you help me do 'A' by putting an identifier in the
Emailer list subject headings?" and lots of people are saying "There 
are better ways to do 'A'."  Is Evie able to reply quickly to urgent 
messages by watching the Connection Status window?  Apparently so, but 
it's not the best way to track urgent messages.
