Helder,

Did you really go back and read Evie's posts? While I don't work the way
she does, and prefer to use the Auto File Log myself, this is not how she
works, and apparently not the way she wants to work. It has nothing to do
with mail actions, since she apparently wants to be able to visually scan
messages in real time _as they come in_ using the Connection Status
window.

While this seems to me to be a multitasking situation that would likely
detract from concentration on whatever other tasks are being done, it is
what she wants to do, and no amount of mail actions or learning to use an
Auto File Log would help her.

So, there are two possible solutions I see: add something like [EM] to
the subject of each message (easy to do on the lists I manage, and which
would still allow the rest of us to use mail actions and the Auto File
Log to our hearts' content), or convince Evie to change the way she does
email. I know some people have tried to do the latter with me, and have
had zero success <g>.

To put it another way:

Evie is saying "can you help me do 'A' by putting an identifier in the
Emailer list subject headings?" and lots of people are saying "Do 'B'
instead." Is 'B' viable? I certainly think so, but it is Evie's choice
about whether to do this.

Best Regards,

Harry Corsover
