If using only G64, many people report that the trajectory 'cuts-corners' either too much (you get rounded off corners) or too little (contouring programs run very slow). Therefore I'd suggest a tolerance is always used with G64, for example G64P0.01 for a tolerance of 0.01 mm (if you program in mm) > I do not know the answers to these questions.
