That connector I considered, but neutrik wants about a tenner per. These
are in the $7 a mating pair, and could handle 10 amps.

That junction box on the motor, local made? Neat!

The Star-Quad cable I use is sold as a mic cable & the heaviest is 24 gage,
but at 2.4 amps, zero heating. Very long lived in a flexing situation. On
my mill, only the Z axis is motor is stationary on that shop made z axis
drive. X & Y both move with the table. As does the rotary table of course
when its mounted.

And its crowded, I have to move the mill around so the workpiece doesn't
hit something. As ever, I need a bigger shop.

A 12 x 16 foot building with the mill, a 7x12 lathe, a 14x48 wood lathe, a
B&D/Delta overarm saw I haven't use in yonks, a tool cabinet 3 feet wide,
15" deep and 64" tall, a floor model drill press, a table carrying a
granite flat, with a 6x47 delta jointer and a rikon 10-325 bandsaw in the
middle of the floor, needs another 10 foot in both directions that isn't
there. I clearly have too many hobbies. ;-)

Cheers, gene
