I use Molex or Amp connectors that look similar-ish to the 4-pin PC  
power connectors (but with opposing sides to mate together).  Housings  
with pins are a couple bucks each and they handle a *lot* of power,  
and they have a positive lock.  Seals are also available for under a  
buck.  In this pic, you can see a couple 2-pin versions in the lower  
middle (2-pin) and a 4-pin set on the far right...

This is during setup/testing, so no complaining about the wiring mess  
please :)
