The change is likely due to conceptual vs reality. At first likely sounded like the best approach conceptually. Then in reality once applied, it was deemed to not work out well. Thus the change in support. Nothing to get discouraged over. If anything may consider a rotating time. One meeting at a given time, then the next in a couple weeks at a different time. That way people can make both, and each is having to make equal sacrifices. Late/early, which flips for the next meeting. This is not to cater to time zones, as previously suggested and attempted.
