Obviously, it was largely tongue-in-cheek. I was going for the simplest possible rules to avoid confusion. I have since learned that a great many people do fine using *only* type-in-score. It now appears to me that the recipe for danger is to mix and match between type-in-score and click-assign, but either one alone is usually safe. Anyway, the advice was for "imbeciles", after all. Any of those rules can be safely broken if you proceed in an orderly fashion and/or know what you're doing. By the way, does anyone out there use the fourth triangle? That one seems completely pointless to me, but I've been surprised by this sort of thing before. mdl _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
