Are you really saying that you adjust the systems by dragging them?
Why not use the edit system margins window. It does give you a lot of
control. It never take me more than a few seconds to adjust all you we're
talking about to add the finishing touch to the score. I don't use a plug-in
for this, as I don't see it as a limitation for me.

On the other side, I have already requested a feature that would allow
vertical spacing, as featured in SCORE. I think the font annotation would
allow them to add this feature, as it determines the very limit of every
character that is on the screen. This would adjust both staves and systems
on the page to find the most elegant disposition of them.
