..you _are_ authorized by the copyright owner(s) to show these manuals
to _any_ member of the public, without any NDA, even for the restricted 
purpose of explaining what you meant to ask FG developers and other 
interested parties here?  If not, I think that would be a good number 
one question to ask.  Such a #1 question documented asked and answered,
should keep us all in the clear, and may help convince your brass.

..I have this stubborn prejudice the corporate lawyers think we 
have no concern for copyright.  Copyright law forms the bedrock 
of our legal teeth in all versions of the GPL, agreement is irrelevant 
to the GPL, if it is not complied to, the GPL simply falls away, and 
you instead face the wrath of Copyright law, with is _much_ easier 
to enforce than contracts, because most governments are happy to put
copyright infringers in jail, where contract partners are left alone 
to slug it out in peace in the courts of the Peace ;o) until the 
losers runs out of money.
