I've just applied he latest Sg patch on Win XP/msvc9; builds without error.
I still get: 

Warning: detected OpenGL error 'invalid value' after RenderBin::draw(,)
RenderStage::drawInner(,) FBO status= 0x8cd5


And I have yet to see any 3d clouds. Any clues on where I should be looking
(yes the box is checked :-))
