Yes, I was hoping you had a reasonable ssh setup that included sftp.  That
seemed like a good place to put it given that freecol.org was still down
when I tried.  Looks like it is up now, which is good.  I will see if I
can get to the magic downloads directory tomorrow, as it is getting late
here.

AFAICT src.zip just contains the current git tree in a cleaned state.
This was probably fine before, but I agree it should not contain the
website.

OK, good news that you have sighted a working (if known-flawed)
installer.  Please advise when whichever of the above you consider
release-blocking is fixed.  I am not in a good position to judge their
importance.
