To people who feel that an SLA is important, I would remind you that for any serious site, the major cost of downtime is lost availability, lost business, customer dissatisfaction, etc. A hundred dollar reimbursement for an hour of downtime is of no consequence. For this reason, SLAs are not worth the paper they are printed on.
