What could be done is to modifiy it so it links with fribidi if it is available; and if it is not, well, then bidi support is not built. So people that want/need bidi support can just install the fribidi library; and the code can still be under a licence compatible with the inclusion in XFree86 sources. Fribidi won't be *needed* but optional, giving extra features if present. Isn't that the way the freetype lib is used too? (you still can compile XFree86 withotu freetype support, isn't it?) -- Ki ça vos våye bén, Pablo Saratxaga http://www.srtxg.easynet.be/ PGP Key available, key ID: 0x8F0E4975 _______________________________________________ I18n mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/i18n
