It's more complicated than that, Sergio. Two points: 1. IBM does not license z/OS to Hercules boxes, and 2. There is no such thing as "free z/OS." It doesn't matter whether you are running z/OS at work, at home, in the lab, on the playground, or in a virtual machine -- there are license charges to use z/OS.
