Michael said that the Advanced Linguistic Search Plug-in had to be downloaded, so I doubt it is for that. No matter what it is, IBM needs to reevaluate why it's required since it is HUGE. We are talking about almost 1 Meg.
I just looked at it again and I think it is part of the BookManager Index function.
