If you take some time to check logos of the open source movements they are all illustrations. All the lugs in around the world have mascots which are a called logos(although a misnomer)and the 9 points posted by LL are defied in every linux logo. Search the net for linux logo and you will only find illustrations. Only big corporates adhere to these rules of logo, as they have to mass print their logos, but even mid sized organisations bend these rules to some extent. Moreover if ll would not have posted those 9 points, very few ppl would have known them. I had replied to LL on his 9 points and why i deviated from them even when i knew them and how my illustrations still adhered to 6 out of 9 points but i did not explained them the way ll explained them.
