Yes, Brian that about covers it, and I'm glad to get 'back up' for my decision. My b/w G3 will be winging it's way to me shortly.

Thanks for everyone's advice and help! I'm sure I'll have more questions when it arrives!

Sounds like an older powermac, or a mac mini would be the best bet. You can get a B&W powermac for pretty cheap these days, and will handle most everything you want it to, with no problems. Anything newer/faster will only be icing on the cake. The linksys card MIGHT work, IF there are mac drivers available for it. Depending on the drivers, you may need to jump to a newer or older version of the mac OS to work with the linksys card. IF that all works out well, then getting the powermac on the wireless network should be cake. Re: the games: I'm sure this goes without saying, but you'll have to be sure that you have mac versions of everything you'll want to run. Programs to word process with are not a problem: appleworks 5 or six will do fine, and should be cheap as well. A B&W powermac or newer should work with any existing USB keyboard and mouse you have and any VGA monitor. hope that covers everything. Brian
