It saddens me to see what is going on in this mailing list. I was
looking for the banding together to allow OpenSolaris to become
something greater. The real issues aren't which WM, Email, or Browser is
the best. Rather I'd like to see how we are going to address the real
challenges of making it work on current generation machines and meet the
needs of a diverse user base. Instead I keep seeing how it should meet
the tunnel-vision of the few.

What you are seeing here is this discussion list degenerating into the
same irrelevant drivel as opensolaris-discuss has. The one significant
difference being that it took opensolaris-discuss at least a year to
become irrelevant.

I will let you be the judge as to why that is.

Maybe this list would make some progress if certain prolific (and
painfully irrelevant) posters -- you know whom you are -- would give
this list a break, and would stop repeating the same tired drivel they
have been repeating for the past two and a half years. I will
postulate that all the readers of this list can understand a simple
idea on first reading; it need not be repeated endless times.
