| EMS Fast Fact Here's another reason EMS crews are busy on weekends and nights. More speeding-related fatal crashes occur from 6 pm Friday to 5:59 am Monday than on weekdays. Saturdays have the highest proportion of such fatalities. The highest proportion of speeding-related fatalities continue to occur from midnight to 3 am, followed by 9 pm to midnight, 6 to 9 pm, and 3 to 6 pm.
