I believe I asked you what video card you are using. what drivers are
you using for that card. Answering these questions can help diagnose
your problem. One lister went a bit further than I in stating that
often this occurs because of video issues. You tipped us in that
direction when you said that the putter runs fine with no jfw loaded.
I don't care how new a computer is, or seems to be, I've seen new ones
that I had to defrag and run scandisk on. I've seen putters that have
a weird virus checker that kills the putter when jfw loads. We are
trying to help. I know your frustration. Been there, done that. I'm
totally blind and cannot read the screen as you can when I get a
glitch like that so count your self lucky.

if yours is not there, it doesn't mean it won't work but if it is
there that is one problem you don't have and we can turn our attention
to looking at other possible causes. The kinds of errors you are
getting indicate hardware or hardware driver problems so with jfw,
first thing we suspect as it is common enough is video.
