What?
I'm not sure if this is the _right_, way, but what I have been doing (not as root, but just as plain user-me) is: File > Open File navigate to place whereto xpi file was downloaded select it and click open (or double click the file) then wait a few seconds wile it looks at the file and decides to enable the "install now" button, then click the install now button. I don't remember how to validate the xpi from a signature, but I suppose that should be the right thing to do, eh? Anyway, the extension requires Moz/FF restart in order to be used. ..jim -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-newbie
