I think it's a demonstration of the FL bending over backwards to help
Leeds.  It's going to be very difficult for them to just hand us the
golden share without some form of sanction because it's being done outside
the CVA, and this has never happened before.  The circumstances do not
appear to fit the FL's definition of "exceptional circumstances" (and why
should it?).  If Bates has any sense it seems that we're close to getting
sorted in a way that won't harm us too much on the pitch.  However, if he
continues to pursue his own petty vendettas (vs Blackwell, vs HMRC) then
we could well all suffer further.  It's up to how much he (and HMRC) are
prepared to compromise.

So, Ken... side before self?
