Why drop out now that we are at the level you do best?

You keep inferring that I am saying things that I am not.  If you don't like
me pulling you up on it then be more careful about what you say.

The only case HMRC have against anything is the original CVA which is
scrapped, so why are they still involved in proceedings/discussions?  Either
they are threatening something else, or the FL want an easy life and want
LUFC to bung them a few million to go away quietly and the original CVA be
resurrected, thereby avoiding the uncomfortable situation of the FL actually
having to define 'exceptional'.

There are several problems with the latter, the major one being what about
the other creditors, what is to stop them doing the same if they see a
bulging brown envelope down the line?

I cannot see any moral or legal justification for HMRC getting more money,
hence my assertion they are actually involved for other reasons.
