hey Pat!... can I assume that in your variation, the router carriage is stationary without the ability to slide along the bed?... I would need the carriage to move along the X axis so various "pump" action cuts could be done along a spiral of some sort... so the pumping action needs to be in motion while the carriage is in motion... I am racking my brain on this one... I have done a lot of mods on my Legacy, and some that I have done the design work on but just don't have the time right now to execute and build... but this mod has me stumped to the point that I cannot get the design worked out, never mind what it might take to complete the actual mod to a full working stage!... I like the idea of coming off the end of the lead screw... the problem is how to transfer that motion to a X-axis moving carriage, along the full length of the bed... let the quest continue!...
