You might have many Smith families in your database that have absolutely nothing to do with each other. But a surname like mine would be a different story. ;-) Maybe I'll take back what I said about the Surname Report ... with a caveat. If the Surname Report could be printed as a chapter in Publishing Center with options like... 1> Print only tagged surnames 2> Print surnames with notes 3> Print surnames with pictures (see my question below) ... then I think it might be useful to me. But I would still like to hear other ideas. By the way Geoff, why is there a Picture icon on the Master Surname List window? I can't seem to get it to do anything. But, if you could also attach a picture to a surname (for example, a map of the region in West Prussia where my Kowallek ancestors came from) and print it on the Master Surname Report, then that would be pretty neat! -- Dennis M.
