okay, enough about cheep. I never said I wanted cheep web hosting. I just wanted to know if those companies were really offering what they claimed to be offering. Obviously, they are not being entirely honest. Now if I compare those prices to, say, $11.00 /mo. then it is no problem. I'd much rather pay the extra $7 /mo. to get something that I know what I'm getting. I'd much rather have a company tell me up front what I am really getting. So this is not about me getting web hosting for cheep. I just wanted to know if they were going to provide what they claim to provide.
As for VPS, I would much rather do that, but I'm afraid that I don't have the knowledge at this point to secure a server. I would probably get hacked instantly, and then go through a crash course on security, which I don't have time for right now. As much as I'd love to do it, I don't think that is an option. Nevertheless, you guys have provided a great deal of knowledge that gives me a much better picture of what I am dealing with, so that I can make an educated guess. Especially Roger, who has helped me to realize that even I can compete in the web hosting arena.
