Gosh, Kent.  If only you desired that sort of rigor in all aspects
of Net management.  

Or, perhaps you just don't deem all of this work as important as the
root servers.

Or, more accurately, perhaps you only resort to this kind of rigor
when you think it will best serve your needs.
